An adventurous destination

Famous protected cave systems

Barra Honda National Park is home of the famous Barra Honda Cavern system. The park protects a system of 42 caverns. Due to its unique underground features, the park is also home to several rare species. The entrance fee for tourists is $10, and the cave tour is around $25 per person. There is a scenic network of hiking trails that grant access to the caverns. This is a great way to explore the tropical dry forest, which is one of the rarest habitats on Earth.
