A wilderness destination

The jewel of Côte-Nord

Anticosti is a wild and enchanting island, basking in the clear Northern Lights, white cliffs, yawning canyons and huge secluded caves. There are a lot of white-tailed deer, salmon frolicking in emerald green basins, as well as seals sunbathing on rocks. It is also home of numerous fossils and shipwrecks. During your visit, be sure to stop by the Vauréal Waterfall, which is a huge 76 meter fall that flows into an impressive canyon.

  1. There aren’t many places to stay on Anticosti Island, but if you manage to organize a trip there, you won’t regret it! We find on the island countless fossils, caves, shipwrecks and a very rich fauna.
