A Barely visited National Park

Cavernas do Peruaçu is a spectacular National Park known for its large limestone caves and rock formations. The park hosts many natural beauties. The main attraction of the park is the Gruta do Janelao cave. The entrance is free of charge but you can hire a guide for around R$150 daily.

How to get there:

To get to Cavernas do Peruaçu National Park you should rent a car at the closest airport in Montes Claros. Driving to the park is a must! It is a 2-hour drive from the city of Montes Claros on the federal highway BR135. You can park close to the sites and walk to get to the attractions.
