A well-preserved prehistoric settlement landscape

UNESCO World Heritage Site

Mesa Verde National Park is a historic park that is home to some of the best-preserved Ancestral Puebloan archaeological sites in the U.S. It has mroe than 5000 sites, including 600 cliff dwellings. To fully appreciate this historic site and its history, you can hire a guided tour. The park also offers some iconic hiking trails that offers some panoramic views of the park like. These include, Sun Point Overlook or Petroglyph Point Trail. The entrance fee to the park is $20.00 per car.

Mesa Verde National Park is situated in the southwest corner of Colorado, and is easilly reachable by road.
