The clearest blue cave in Brazil.

An ecological masterpiece

Poço Azul is a crystal clear water inside a prehistoric cave. The hike down to the cave is really easy and well-maintained. They will give you a lifejacket to visit the cave for safety. The best time to visit the cave is from April to October between 12 to 2pm because of the sunlight going straigth into the pool. The entrance fee is 30 BRL per person.

Located In Chapada Diamantina Bahia

How to get there:

Poçco Azul Caves lies between the town of Itaete and Andarai. You need to get to the car park at the river Paraguacu, cross the river on a ferry to get there. Locating the cave can be a little complicated so ou can hire a guide or an organized trip from Lencois town.
