Mount Sinai, also known as Jebel Musa, is a significant spiritual site that draws travelers from around the world. Located in the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt, this ancient mountain is believed to be where Moses received the Ten Commandments, making it a sacred destination for Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike. For outdoor enthusiasts, the hike to the summit offers breathtaking views of rugged landscapes and a chance to witness a sunrise that bathes the desert in golden hues. The journey, though challenging, is a rewarding experience for both the body and soul. The hike takes an average of 4 h 35 min and a 6.8-mile out-and-back to complete. Along the hike, you'll also tour Saint Catherine Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world's oldest continuously inhabited Christian monastery.

Seasons and Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit Mount Sinai is in spring (March-May) or autumn (September-November) when temperatures are moderate.
