The Rektoratskirche St. Karl Borromäus

The most outstanding baroque church in Vienna

A superb baroque church close to Karlsplatz and the Naschmarkt market. The interior is superbly decorated with columns and marble statues. The central altar at the back of the church is definitely worth seeing and is the "crown's jewel" of the site.

located on the south side of Karlsplatz in Vienna, Austria

How to get there:

The U1 metro line drops you off at a 3-minute walk from the monument. Otherwise, the city is very well done by bike if you prefer this mode of transport.
