The Hardergrat Trail starts at Interlaken and finishes at Brienzer Rothorn station, with a total distance of 24 km. About 18 km of the whole trail is spent on a grassy ridge with a spectacular 360 degree view of the Alps, as well as the turquoise waters of the Brienz Lake. To get to Interlaken (where the trail begins), you can take a train from Zurich or any other major Swiss city.
