The Rock of Guatape, also known as "La Piedra" is an impressive landmark situated in the municipality of Guatapé. This 200 meters giant granitic rock offers one of the most amazing 360-degree lookouts in all of Colombia. However, this breathtaking view has price: it requires hiking a set of 650 steps to the summit. The entrance fee to climb La Piedra Del Penol is $6 USD

How to get there:
The best way to get to Guayapé Rock is to take the bus at the Caribe bus station, in Medellin to Guatape. A one way (? one way or on way?) bus trip cost about 4$ USD. From there, you can either walk to the destination or take a tuk-tuk to reach the entrance of the La Piedra Del Penol.
