Spectacula Icelandic Waterfall

One of nature's impressive wonders.

Godafoss is one of the largest waterfalls in Iceland. The water of the Skjálfandafljót river falls from a height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters. The river rises into the Icelandic highlands and runs through the Bárðardalur valley.

How to get there:

Godafoss is off of route 1, between Myvatn to the east and Akureyri to the west. If you are taking a bus from Akureyri, Myvatn or Egilsstadir, take line 62 and 62a.
