One of the most pristine wilderness destination

Crystal clear rivers, iconic mountains, beautiful wildlife ... Gaspesia has it all!

Gaspesia peninsula is breathtaking: the Rocher Percé, the Bay des Chaleurs, the Bonaventure River and the Chic-Choc mountains are definitely worth visiting. It is the perfect destination for a road trip. There are many places to see and activities to do all year long. Some of the highlights of the peninsula include snorkeling along with the salmons into the crystal clear Bonaventure River, self-guided canoe-camping, fishing on the pier, hiking the Chic-Choc Mountains and much more! For accomodations, there are some crazy camping spots along the way. We also recommend to stay a few nights at the Sea Shack Festive Hostel located in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. You won't regret it.

How to get there:

The best way to visit the Gaspesia Peninsula is definitely by driving your own car. You can rent one at the airport or in the city. Other options include the VIA Rail Train or Orléans Express bus service that goes to Gaspe from Montreal or Québec City.
