A Natural Wonder in the South

Hike One of Africa’s Largest Canyons

Located in southern Namibia, Fish River Canyon is the second largest canyon in the world. With its rugged cliffs and winding riverbed, it offers breathtaking views and the famous multi-day Fish River Hiking Trail for adventure seekers. The Fish River Canyon trail spans a total of 86 km, though numerous shortcuts along the river reduce the walking distance by approximately 14 km. Plan for 4 to 5 days to complete this breathtaking trek. For shorter adventures, you can opt for a half-day or full-day hike. Park entrance fees are NAD 160 (approximately US$11) per person. For further details or inquiries, feel free to contact res2@journeysnamibia.com or fishriver@journeysnamibia.com.
