Puerta del Diablo, also known as “Devil's Door”, is an impressive rock formation situated in Los Planes De Renderos. It is featuring some of the best rock-climbing sites of the country, with dozens of established routes for climbers of all levels. The summit of the boulder offers stunning views of mountains and the Pacific Ocean. There are plenty of organized tours that include a day trip to Puerto Del Diablo, where you can go zip-lining, explore the nearby caves and even rappel down the cliff’s face.

The best way to get to Puerta Del Diablo is to take a taxi or the bus. From the Palacio Nacional, bus #12 will drop you off next to the trailhead.
