A bucket-list-worthy destination

Chi-choc is a mountain range in the central region of the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec. It is well known for it's incredible backcountry skiing during winter, it's iconic hiking trails during summer and it's breathtaking scenery all year long. Mountains up to 1268 meters high like Mont Jacques-Cartier or 1151 meters like Mont Albert are the highest of the mountain range. There are several campgrounds in the region, several chalets for rent and the luxurious Hotel, the Gite du Mont Albert located at the bottom of the Mont Albert itself.

  1. The “Réserve faunique des Chic-Chocs “Is one of the best places to hike in Eastern Canada. There is the highest peak in Quebec, Mont Jacques Cartier. The fauna is very rich and you can admire one of the only herds of caribou in Quebec.
