Hike or ride to the edge of the crater
Ratu Crater is situated in the Tangkuban Perahu volcano, and is 2084m high. It is a popular tourist attraction where tourists can hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs and the boiling mud up close. You can even buy eggs cooked on the hot surface. It has erupted 18 times in the past 193 years.
