Angkor Archaeological Park

Pre Rup is a Hindu temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It was built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman in 1996. It is a mountain temple of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction. Pre Rup means "Turning the Body" and refers to a traditional method of cremation in which a corpse’s outline is traced in the cinders. It is one of the most popular sunset areas around Angkor.
