The Agulhas shipwreck refers to the remains of a Portuguese ship that was wrecked in 1503 off the coast of South Africa near Cape Agulhas. The remains of the ship and its cargo are now considered to be an important cultural heritage site and a valuable resource for scholars and researchers studying the history of the Indian Ocean trade.
