Uluwatu Temple is an impressive Hindu temple sitting atop a panoramic plateau above limestone cliffs and turquoise ocean water. It is clearly the best place on the island of Bali to have a beer, a cup of coffee and to admire the sunset. Uluwatu is also a popular surf spot. You have to walk down the stairs into the caves to reach the small beach.
The easiest option to get to Uluwatu Temple is to hire a motorbike and to drive there yourself. It is 1.5 hours from the popular areas like: Kuta, Seminyak and Canggu. You can also take a Grab or a taxi to reach the temple.

The Uluwatu Temple is one of the best place to watch the sunset (you’ll be surrounded by a tons of monkeys as well!). I really recommend this spot. There are lots of tourists though, so if you go there for the sunset, it will be less crowded and even more beautiful! Enjoy 🙂
