Central America's top surf break

A hidden paradise

Santa Catalina is a small fishing town on the Pacific Coast of Veraguas. The area is known for its numerous outdoor opportunities such as fishing, surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. It is rich in marine life due to the influence of five major currents. Whale sharks are commonly seen by both divers and snorkelers from December through March, while humpback whales are seen in migration from August to November. You can also see reef sharks, sea turtles, eels, puffers, sea horses and much more.
