Visiting the red sand dunes of Mui Ne is a must when travelling in South Vietnam. These magestic, desert-like sand dunes are definitely worth a visit. There are numerous tour operators in Mui Ne that organise day trips to these the dunes. You can rent a bike, a quad bike, you can sandboard and book a hot air balloon tour over the dunes. If you are not with an organised tour, locals may ask you to pay an entry fee of 10.000 VND.
