Tigers Roam Free in Ranthambore

Wildlife Wonderland

Ranthambore National Park, located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, India, is a prime destination for wildlife enthusiasts and travelers seeking an immersive nature experience. Spanning approximately 392 square kilometers, the park is known for its thriving population of Bengal tigers and diverse flora and fauna.

Ranthambore offers two types of safaris - the morning safari (6:30 AM to 10:00 AM) and the afternoon safari (2:30 PM to 6:00 PM). The park is closed during the monsoon season (July to September). Vehicle Options: Travelers can choose between open-top jeeps and canter safaris. Jeep safaris are more intimate and allow for closer wildlife encounters, while canters accommodate larger groups. While the park is famous for its tigers, it's important to note that sightings are not guaranteed. However, the experienced guides and naturalists accompanying the safaris increase the chances of spotting tigers and other wildlife. Besides tigers, Ranthambore is home to various wildlife species such as leopards, sloth bears, sambar deer, and numerous bird species. The safaris provide opportunities to observe and photograph this diverse wildlife.
