Higher than the Niagara Falls
A spectacular historic site
Thes 30 meters-high Montmorency Falls are one of the most beautiful falls in all of Quebec. Opened year-round, you can get on top of the waterfalls by cable car or by venturing on its 500 steps to the top. There is a hanging bridge over the Falls which offers a thrilling panoramic view. The bottom of the Falls is a popular area for trout and salmon fishing. Fishing licenses are easy to obtain: ask your nearest outdoor retailer.

How to get there:
The Montmorency Falls are accessible by bus from downtown Quebec City, or you can reach them by car. It is approximately a 15 minute drive from the city. Parking fees are $12.
