"50 First Dates" filming location
A scenic lookout
Makapu'u Point is a popular lookout located in the east of Oahu Island. You will admire a scenic view over Makapuʻu Beach and Waimanalo Bay. You can hike a close to the edge to see the famous lighthouse where the Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore shared their first kiss when filming their iconic romantic comedy "50 First Dates". It is also a popular destination for whale watching during the winter.
