Bourke's Luck Potholes is a natural geological formation located in the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve in Mpumalanga, South Africa. The potholes were formed by centuries of water erosion, which has sculpted the sandstone into fascinating cylindrical shapes and smooth, curved basins. The swirling waters of the Blyde and Treur rivers have also created a series of natural rock pools and cascading waterfalls in the area. Today, Bourke's Luck Potholes is a popular tourist destination and attracts thousands of visitors each year who come to admire the spectacular natural scenery and enjoy activities such as hiking, birdwatching, and whitewater rafting.

How to get there:
It is possible to get to Bourke’s Luck Potholes by public transport, but it may be a bit challenging. The closest town to the attraction is Graskop, which is about 35km away. From there, you can take a taxi or minibus taxi to the potholes.
You can also take a bus from Johannesburg to Graskop or nearby towns like Sabie or Hazyview, and then take a taxi from there to the potholes. However, be aware that public transport in the area can be infrequent and unreliable, so it’s important to plan ahead and check schedules in advance.
If you’re not familiar with the area or the transport system, it may be easier and more convenient to arrange a tour or private transfer.
