The most picturesque beach in Crete
The famous Balos Beach is known for its magnificent landscape and its turquoise waters. The sea is warm and shallow: a perfect place for snorkeling and swimming. Note, that from July to August, the beach can be very crowded. We recommend going early to avoid the crowds.

How to get there:
First, you have to get to the coastal town of Kissamos or Chania. From there, take the bus that travels from Chania/Kissamos, respectively, to Balos.
