El Valle de Anton is a town in Central Panama. It is situated in the crater of an extinct volcano, surrounded by mountains and cloud forests. It is known for its numerous mountain hiking trails, waterfalls and historic attractions. The trail to reach the summit takes approxiamately 3 hours. Cerro Gaital Trail is a challenging journey, its views are extremely rewarding.

You can get to Anton Valley by bus from Anton Valley Town. The ride costs $6 and takes approximately two hours. Ask the driver to drop you off right at the trailhead. You can also drive yourself, or take a taxi – but these options are more expensive.
