Visitors should expect a short 15–20 minute hike from the parking area along a rocky path. There are basic changing rooms, but no facilities or lifeguards. Bring appropriate footwear and your own towel. Take a bus from Reykjavík to Skógar (via Route 1). From Skógar, you’ll need to take a taxi to the Seljavallalaug parking lot. The pool is a 20-minute walk from there.
